Overall , it is clear that the population of individuals from Germany in three categories will maintain their positions from the beginning to the end of the period.
To begin with, in 2020 the population of German citizens over 65 age group composed about 17 million , representing the largest category. Likewise, the population of elderly population (aged 65-79) was in second place and amounted approximately 14.000.000. In contrast with the population of people aged 80 and over in Germany which made up only 6 million at the beginning of the period.
Over the rest of the period, the population of german residents in over 65 and over 80 categories will slightly rise , the former will compose 23.000.000, while latter will forme only 10 million in 2050.
