Overall, in the three teams Manchester City, Manchester Utd, and Liverpool, there was a dramatic increase in the amount of money spending on transfer players. On the other hand, in Arsenal, despite the slightly fluctuation throughout the period, the money spending on players transfer decreased gradually.
In 1995, Manchester Utd spent nearly 35 million pounds on players transfers, and the spending rose steeply over the years making it reach around 160 million in 2015. Also, Manchester Utd was the highest team spending compared to the other teams. Liverpool spent just under Manchester Utd around 33 million, and in the next years, there was a dramatic growth in the spending. Making it the second high team on spending on players with amount of nearly 135 million.
Manchester City was the lowest team in 1995. It spent around 5 million pounds on transferring players, and it remain relatively the same until 2005. In 2010, there was a sharp rise in the money spending, it reached roughly 100 million, and in the next five years it increased slightly just over 120 million. Arsenal there was a gradual fluctuation over the period around between 25 and 15 million, and in 2015 it reached just over 20 million.
