The line graph is a comparison between the land used in organic crops in two countries.
A cursory glance shows that the two lines started and ended with quite the same numbers. The lines representing the two countries started in 1985 and ended in 2010 with a very near number of hectares. Country A started with around 25 thousand hectares in 1985, then there was a slight rise in the numbers of hectares until 1990, then there was a dramatic rise in numbers up until 2000 when it reached a peak of 275 thousand hectares. Then country A used less and less land for the next decade until it hit its lowest number in 2010 at around 140 thousand hectares.
On the other hand, although country B had its peaks and troughs, it wasn’t as dramatic as country A. Country B started with the same number which is 25 thousand hectares in 1985, only to continue to rise in numbers all through the next decade and half until the year 2000 when it reached its highest numbers of hectares at around 190 thousand hectares. Then it started to decrease its use of land to end with 150 thousand hectares in 2010.
