The line graph gives information about the number of armed robbery, assault and murder case that happened in London from the period of 2003 to 2012. The unit of measurement is in number of crimes. Overall, it is evident that robbery had the highest crime rate but declined over the years. However,the number of assault and murder crimes fluctuated across the years.
To begin, crime associated with armed theft declined in london. In 2003, the number of arm robbery case stood at 3400 and this peaked at approximately 3700 in 2004. The number plunged and reached a low of 1000 crimes in 2008. Additionally, it slightly increased by 500 in 2009 and remained unchanged till the end of the period.
Furthermore,crimes associated with homicide and physical attack fluctuated. The number of criminal act related to assault and killings was 2300 and 500 in 2003 respectively. In the following year, the attack rate sligthly surged to 2400 and this reached a low point of 2000 in 2006. The number of offense linked to assault fluctuated and gradually increased to 2600 at the end of the period. Similarly, murder cases grew to 1000 and fell to 500 which it remained unchanged untill 2009. An increase in the number of homocide was seen by 200 in the following year and gradually fell to 500 by 2012.
