The line graph illustrates the proportion of people aged 65 and above in three different countries over the period of 1980 to 2030.

Overall, it is clear that the proportion of population aged 65+ has significantly rose, in all the three countries, from the lowest being in 1980 to the highest being in 2030. It is also noticable that Germany has maintained its position higher than the other two countries throughout that period.

To begin with, Germany has a steady growth in the population being around 14% in 1980 to a little over 24% in 2030, while Canada followed a similar pattern and displayed a steep increase in the proportion of people being around 5% to more than 22% in the same period of time.

In contrast, UK portrays a much moderate jump from 10% to 20% between the year 1980 and 2030. Additionally, the data illustrates that UK started with being higher in the graph but was soon overcomed by Canada in around 2015.
