However, It decreased very significantly until 1990, and then there was molerate fall. In last year of the period it showed minimum number of guests, under 10%.
Pavilion is most popular attraction among tourists in contrast of others. From 1980 to 1995 it went up from around 20-25% to just under 50%. After that there was considerable decrease, even then it stayed first. Next attraction, pier was less visited place in Brighton from 1980 to 2005.In 20p5 it overcame art gallery and increasedvery rapidly and in 2010 showed proportion of over 20%, for about 10% more than its nearest rival.
