The line graph describes the changing preferences in percentage of visitors to four different attractions Scotlands over the span from 1980 to 2010.
As can be obviously observed, the percentage of visitors who went to zoo and castle tend to increase whereas the proportion of those visiting Aquarium and Festival witnessed a downward trend over given period.
Out of four locations, Castle emerged as the most favoured attractions during the period. Starting at 23% in 1980, the visiting rate considerably ascend and reached the peak of 45% in 1995. Later, it significantly reduced to 35% in the next 5 years and was 33% in the last year. Similarly, the proportion of travelers to the Zoo fluctuated from 10% to around 15% in the first 20 years then increased to over 20% by 2010.
A stark contrast could be seen in the two remaining attractions with a significant decline over the period shown. In 1980, the percentage of people sightseeing Aquarium is 20%, at this point it exponentially grow up to 35% in 1985. Following this, it dropped to under 20% in 1990 before marginally decrease to under 10% during the next 20 years. Likewise, the figure for visits to Festival observed a gradual fall from 30% in 1980 to 20% in 2010.
