The line graph illustrate oil production and consumption rate in China from 1982 to 2006.
Overall, the graph shows production an consuption ratio of oil in China, how did the produce and use millions of oil barrels per day. Throughout the interval the production and requirment rate was increased.
In 1982, the production rate and consumption rate was nearly equal to each other. But after that the production proportion was slightly increased till 1986 and remained same till 1993. The consumption rate was 2 millions of oil barrels per day in 1982 and remained constant till 1990, after this requirement of oil was greatly increased. After 1994 the production rate was increasing but slower than the consumption rate. In 2006, the consumption rate about to 6.3 millions of barrels per whereas the production value was approximately 3.5 million of oil barrels per day. It mean the production rate was slower than requirement rate
