Overall, although the average peak temperature in all cities showed a decrease, Darwin exhibited the highest temperature during the given period.
First of all, Darwin accounted for the highest temperature in summer at 34 degrees, but it fell in autumn to around 32 degrees, before a remarkable decrease in winter to 31 degrees. Then, it rose moderately in spring to 32. Besides, Cairns was responsible for the second rank at about 30 degrees, it also declined gradually in winter to 25 degrees, before increasing to 29.
Meanwhile, Perth was the warmest city at 30 degrees, but it decreased dramatically in winter to 19, and increased in the last season to 22. In comparison, Adelaide and Sydney had almost similar temperatures in summer and autumn by one degree, 26 and 25 degrees, respectively. However, the former dropped to 15 degrees in winter, while the latter fell to 17 degrees. Afterward, the level of temperature in both cities also increased in the last season to 22 for Sydney and to 21 for Adelaide.
