Overall, from 2005 to 2011, the cost of seeing movies climbed, with movie tickets remaining the most expensive and DVDs being the least costly. Legal download became more popular among individuals over a six-year period.
In terms of cost, ticket cinema was the most expensive, which climbed from 2005 about 9 to 14 in 2011. Likewise, the price of DVDs rose about 2 units from 6 to 8 in 2011. Although the cost of legal download was higher than DVDs in 2005 at around 7 in 2005, it dropped dramatically under 4 in 2007 and became the cheapest way to watch movies, but it increased again to 9 in 2011.
In 2005, the percentage of people who rented a DVD was the highest at 59% of all total but it dropped dramatically to 26% in 2011. Going to cinema was also seen a significant decreased from 36% to 18% in 2011. While the opposite was true for legal download rose remarkably from 5% in 2005 to 56% in 2011
