The diagram depicts Australian export’s proportions between 1990 and 2012 to countries such as Japan, US, China and India.
Overall, Japan was leading in export from Australia till the year of 2005 when China surpassed in export and Japan’s export from Australia decreased. Also, there are two countries, India and US, who were the lowest one countries thta were demonstrating fluctuation throughout the period.
Regarding the percentage of Australian’s export in Japan and China, in 1990 Japan began from 25%, meanwhile China was at the bottom with approxemately 2%. Bringing from Australia in Japan was fallen moderately over the next decade to reach around 20% in 2000, which was followed by the era of stability till the end of the period. Whereas Australian’s export to China led to steep growth from under 2% to 25% as it was in Japan at the beginning. After the increasing trend, another significant rose was followed to hit the peak at 2012 at the rate of over 30%.
Looking specifically at US and India, at the beginning US export from Australia was 10%, while India was as the same as China at the start. US export registered a fluctuation until the year of 2000, where it saw a declining trend over the next decade to hit 5% of export. After the plunging trend, there was a slightly soar at 2012 where US reached about 8% export. In contrast, while US was illustrating oscillation trend, India was maintaining to stability. Next 12 years India’s export from Australia showed gradual increase to hit the same percentage of export as US.
