Overall, while the proportion of exports in European Union, Asia and the USA exhibited downward trends over the timeframe, the reverse was true for China. Notably, the proportion of export in China exhibited the most dramatic increase by the end of the period, despite being ranked third in 2000.
Focusing on decreasing first, started at 30 percent in 2000, the proportion of export in Asia dropped significantly to around 18 percent in 2002, before increasing marginally to 20 percent by the end of the period. Additionally, There were steady downward trends in the proportion of both European Union and USA, with the former seeing a more noticeable change, starting at about 32 percent, the percentage of export in European Union saw a consistent drop to just above 20 percent in 2014, similarly, despite remaining stable from about 10 percent in 2000 to 2002, the figure for export in USA underwent a gradual dip to around 6 percent by 2014.
By contrast, the proportion of export in USA witnessed a dramatic upward trend from 2000 to 2014, reaching just above 35 percent and remain a dominant exporter country among others.
