Overall, despite noticeable fluctuations, prices in both Japan and France remained the same in the first year and last year, while in Germany it showed minimal increase. At the same time, USA is the only country where figure maintained constant level over all given periods.
Regarding the amount of money for each kg of bananas in Japan, in 1996, it was 2 before significant growth to the level of 3 in the next 2 years, but it returned to the same level as in the start 1 year later. For the next 3 years it varied between 2$ and 2.5$ just prior to a sudden drop to 1,5. However, it regained to 2 in the last year. Similarly, Germany mirrored this trend except starting at 1.5 and ending up at approximately 1.7.
Turning to France, it started as Japan but remained stable until 1998. Nevertheless, between 1998 and 2003, the cost for bananas there went up and down leading up to achieving 2 USD. Additionally, USA illustrated only slight increase from 1 to around 1.3 after which held this bar for last 6 years.
