Looking from an overall perspective, it is evident that burglary rates decreased dramatically while theft and robbery demonstrated more stable trends despite some fluctuations. Moreover, initially the burglary category was dominant; however, car theft’s quantity outnumbered it finally.
In 2003, burglary’s rate stood at approximately 3400 cases; this number reached its peak after a year. However, it plummeted significantly from nearly 3700 to just above 1000 by 2008. This tendency changed slightly for the following four years, accounting for just below 1500 in 2012.
With regards to the car theft’s figure, it was roughly 2700 incidents, whereas burglary’s indication was less by 1300 than the former. Both categories fluctuated slightly throughout periods, finishing that car theft and robbery’s crimes were around 2700 and 600 cases, respectively in 2012, returning back to the same level of beginning. Albeit, the incident of car theft was higher by 1300 in comparison with burglary (1400).
