Moreover, despite the significant decline, the figure for car theft was more common compared to other crimes at the end.
Focusing on the bigger figures first, car theft, starting at 0.4 million, its figure increased significantly to 1 million in 1990. Its figure was also followed by further rise to 1,6 million in 1995 but then its number exhibited a considerable decrease, reaching 1 million at the end. As for the house burgling, the figure went up significantly from 1970- 0,2 million to 1990- 0.7 but then the figure for house burgling decreased to around 0,5 million in 2005.
In contrast, street rubbery had a smaller numbers relatively compared to others. the figure stayed stable at about 0,1 million between 1970 and 1995, but then its number showed a slight rise to 0,2 million and this number remained until the end.
