Car theft was accounted as the highest crime in 1970 with 0.4 million, followed by an upward trend reaching 1.6 million in 1995. Car theft was dramatically declined to 1 million by 2005. Street robbery was an unpopular crime with 0 cases in 1990 and consistently plateau which slowly went up to 0.2 million in 2005. House burglary had just 0.2 million cases in 1970, with a sharp increase to 0.6 in 1980 and ended with around 0.3 in 2005
With a sharp decrease, car theft remained the popular crime while street robbery stayed at the lowest. House buglary showed a great increase.
