The graph presents the produced amount and demanded and amount of workers employed in this industry in Britain in 2010.
Overall, except minor rises, produced steel and workers employed had followed a downward trend. Actual demand, on the other hand, fluctuated during the year, but ended in a similar value to its beginning value.
Amount of steel produced had undergone a noticeable increase until february then rapidly decreased to its initial value in March. After a period of stabilization, amount produced had dropped more than half million tonnes to approximately 3100 million tonnes and dramatically rise to around 5000 million tonnes in October. Additionally, it consequently decreased to 1000 million tonnes in the end of the year. Meanwhile, the actual demand, started january with 2000 million tonnes and fluctuated around 2500 million tonnes until september. Then, from september to december the actual demand had experienced an enormous decrease and an extensive increase to 2000 million tonnes making it greater than the produced steel amount for the first time during the year.
Numbers of workers employed had a marginal increase until february, although, it witnessed a sharphly decreased from february to march. The numbers were relatively volatile by October where it started to decline steadily, and in the end of the timeline the numbers of workers employed reached 1000.
