The provided illustrations depict the center of a specific small town, namely Islip, during 2010 and 2015. Overall, it is clear that the small town was more developed with new accommodations and additional city infrastructure.
In the year 2010, the main road passed through from the west to the south of Islip. There were two branches of streets: one from the left side, and the other from the right side of the main road. At the end of the right side of the street, a park was built. The shops were placed parallel on each side of the main road. The countryside was located to the north of the map, and the housing areas were below the main road.
In 2015, the straight main road was removed, and a new circular dual carriageway replaced it. The school and one housing area remained in their original location. There was only one area for shops, which was horizontally placed along the circular path. The existing two housing areas were separated and relocated to designated areas, and two new housing areas were added. The small town was divided into two by shops. Above the shops, there were a bus station, a shopping center, a car park, and new housing, which had a specific street connected to the circular road. Below them, there were housing, the new housing, and the park. There was also an area for walking, which served as a median between the shops and the entertainment area.
