Two maps illustrate changes of an American urban area from 1954 to 2014.
Overall, it is readily apparent that North and South parts of the town almost remained unchanged, whereas center of the city completely transformed.
To begin, the lower part of the urban area had ample accommodation which remained the same, separating 4 houses from other 7 by a road and 6 trees. The church was demolished and replaced by sports stadium. Likewise, the upper part had not witnessed any changes throughout 60 years, with remaining petrol station and road surrounded by lots of trees.
On the other hand, inner city totally reconstructed between 1954 and 2014. The government pulled down the local supermarket and developed commercial buildings, and also replaced ample accommodation with them. The park was knocked down, and a supermarket was constructed instead of it, whilst factories were removed and airport was built in this area, with 3 commercial buildings separating it with supermarket.
