The provided maps compare the changes in the village of Stokeford in 1930 and 2010.
Overall, this site undergoes urbanization, from an agriculture to residential purpose, with the construction of a large number of houses being the most significant difference.
The village in 1930 had two massive farmlands, located in the north-west and the south-west. There were a few shops, post office, and the gardens which situated in the central of the village, along with the bridge. Additionally, the primary school was opposite to the gardens that consisted of some large houses.
By 2010, although the post office and the primary school remained unchanged, the farm lands, and the shops were destroyed to make space for residential site. There were two new by roads, splitting off from the west and the east of the bridge which houses along them. More over, there was the appearance of a new circle road on the south side of the post office, surrounded by a vast array of houses. The retirement house was constructed to replace the gardens, and it was connected with the circle road through a by road with houses on either site.
