The maps illustrate the transformation that has taken place in the science park between 2008 and the present day.
Overall, the science park has undergone substantial changes. Several facilities have been removed and replaced by new ones, while some features such as roads, offices and business units have remained unchanged.
In 2008, the park consisted of several distinct areas. Grassland occupied the north-western part of the park, while offices and reception were situated in the north-eastern section.A car park occupied the centre of the park. The IT centre was located in the south-west, whereas Cyber security, as well as the railway, was located in the south-east.
Today, the park has undergone considerable development. Grassland has been replaced by a research and development building, while the reception area has been converted into a university hub. The IT centre in the south-west has been converted into an Innovation Centre. The station has been added to the railway and new cycle paths have been established with a new bus stop in the east. The car park has remained in the same location, although it has been reduced in size. Additionally, cybersecurity still covers the same area, but it has expanded and taken the place of grassland.
