The two maps illustrate the changes in Frento over a period of 22 years, from 1990 to 2012. Overall, the town has undergone urbanization with numerous green areas being developed into residences. Furthermore, multiple infrastructure such as the bank, theatre, and shops has been repurposed into other amenities.
The hospital next to High Street has been expanded. Additionally, three new residential areas made up of flats has been constructed. Two has been constructed in the north, replacing the playing fields with trees and an empty lot. While the largest blocks of flats was developed in the east, replacing the old block of houses. A technopark was also established in the southwest to serve the growing suburban population.
Moreover, several buildings and areas has been reconfigured into different purposes. For instance, the bank was transformed into a restaurant, while the theatre and shops has been respetively coverted into a cinema and and supermarket. Likewise, the cafe and park located in front of the past theatre and shops has been developed into a hotel and golf course.
In contrast, both the school and library are left untouched over the years.
