Overall, the area has undergone significant modifications. Initially, the area was predominantly a public space; however, following its modernization, greater emphasis was placed on providing recreational facilities and enhancing accessibility, making the area more urbanised.
In 1990, there was a high street running from the northern side of the area to the southern one. In the north-western corner of the area was located school, while the western side featured a bank and nearby was hospital. Playing fields surrounded by trees was located in the northern side of the area, whereas in the southern side of the area were trees, theatre and shops. Then, in the centre of the area, there was café and park and nearby, there were houses and library.
Since then, the area has experienced major transformations. The most noticeable changes are on the both sides, northern and southern. The school remained in its original position, and just below this, there was a restaurant. The hospital remained in its previous position, although it was extended, and playing fields with trees replaced by blocks of flats. In addition, in the southern side of the area were trees and substituted by technopark. Similarly, theatre was replaced by cinema, while the shops were replaced by supermarket. Further, houses had been removed and substituted by blocks of flat, whereas café and park was transformed into hotel and golf course. Also, flats were constructed in the northern side, while library remained unchanged in its original position.
