The maps illustrates changes undergone in youngsville in New zeeland over a 20 year period hbetween 1990 to 2010.
Overall it is evident that new zeeland which was previously a recreational center underwent significant development and modernization by the addition of industrial facilities
in 1990, the area comprised mainly of a hospital, school and airport with a crossroad demarcating each of them. A P sign was attached to enable travelers to park their vehicles appropriately. Also woodlands surrounding each of the facility. There were also houses at the east end. Additionally, there was also a railway station running south from the school area to the airport. A river Alanah was constructed to enhance relaxation for school children.
By 2010, significant improvement and enhancement was done in youngsville. Although something’s remained unchanged such as the the hospital, school, airport, river alanah and the parking sign. Woodlands were significantly reduced, and the area was modified to a more industrial one by the addition of a warehouse,factories, stadium and skyscrapers. The railway station was also extended to run from north down to south end. A marina was also built to promote more aquatic activities.
