The given map illustrates the modernisation of a residence hall between the year 2010 and now.
Looking from an overall perspective, the student dormitory has undergone significant renovations, with the most noticeable ones being the relocation of facilities and amenities, while the general layout remains almost intact.
Looking at the map in 2010, there were 3 garden areas in this student hall of residence, with the smallest one located next to the dormitory and two bigger ones in front and behind this building respectively. These gardens have experienced several alterations, the smallest one has been converted into a student-bedroom and a new car parking has replaced the bigger one in front of the hall. Entering the main entrance on the left side of the hall, there was a hallway which was in front of a student-bedroom and a bathroom. All four above-mentioned things have still remained unchanged up to now.
A range of changes were seen inside the student hall. Regarding to the living room that was found next to the smallest garden in 2010 has since been demolished. In the centre of the hall, a bathroom has been constructed there and has still existed up to now. There were only three student-bedrooms in 2010, however, they are expanded into 5 rooms at the present, in which, there are 3 rooms next to each other, right ahead the big garden, another one is located in the bottom corner to the right of the building and the other is near the main entrance, next to the bathroom. A new en-suit room has emerged near the hallway, next to the corner bedroom. Looking at the kitchen, it is also an amentiny that has not experienced any change in position from the past to the present.
