The layout prsented on the picture provides overview of the Southwest airport developement plan for the following year.

The most noticeable features are extension of the gates area together with the walkway part that is planned be replaced by more modern convey system following to the gates and inclusion of new facilites.

Comparing two illustrated maps, it can be seen that, the first one has a simple layout which is planned to be renovated with some additional facilites and extensions. Speaking about extensions, one of them that can be depicted from the pictures is increasing the number of gates with 10 more compared with the current one. This is shown on the top part of the airport design where additional gates formed Y-shaped structure. Another revision, which is planned to be implemented, is the passway used by the passangers to reach the gates, which is an ordinary walkway to be replaced by more practical system with a sky train that will reduce human activity and save the time. The differences in the inside area of the airport, that can be noticed, is an offer to add additional facilities. It is obvious that additional services like bag drop, ATM and car hire are planned to be adjusted for more comfrotable function of the airport. Additionally, two more cafes are going to be availale in the redesigned airport. The location of the check-in spot will be changed from the left-side to the right-side of the departure area to fit a bag drop station near the previously available cafe. What is also can be observed from new proposed layout is that there is another extension of an arrival area where exactly the cire hire service is going to be located.
