The provided maps illustrate two possible designs of a conference room.
Overall, both plans include similar essential features but differ significantly in the positioning of amenities and furniture. The most pronounced differences are the relocation of the morning tea, as well as the rearrangement of seating and presentation space.
Looking first at plan A, a podium is situated along the northern wall adjacent to a whiteboard directly opposite the door, while a long desk for morning tea covers the southern end of the meeting room. Besides, a group of round tables is located in the middle, with three sets of chairs lined up in a row, enabling participants to face inwards.
Moving to plan B, the morning tea section is now replaced by an L-shape table, as well as relocated to the top left corner of the meeting room, allowing more central space for seating. In addition, the whiteboard remains on the north wall, but the tables and chairs are distributed more evenly throughout the room, creating a less formal and interactive setting. Finally, unlike plan A, the podium repositions to the center, beyond the whiteboard, facilitating a more collaborative atmosphere.
