The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in a certain area before and after the construction of a hydroelectric power plant.
In general, we can see that the area experienced significant transformations with the construction of the hydroelectric dam and power plant and hotel; however, the forest, mountains, and village remain unchanged.
Before the construction of a hydroelectric power plant, the area by the river had forest, national park, farmland, and village, as well as mountains. In the middle of the area, a bridge connected the historic castle and the village.
Today, the site appears more industrial and modern due to the construction of the hydroelectric dam, hotel, and power plant. In the middle of the river, a hydroelectric dam was built, creating a lake for entertainment and fishing activities. The historic castle was converted into transmission towers to distribute electricity. On the eastern site, the farmland below the mountains was destroyed to make way for a hotel for visitors to the lake. The village, mountains, and forest remained unchanged.
