Overall, there have been considerable modifications in the store. While sections on the left side have remained almost unchanged, other areas have witnessed significant relocations and expansion. Moreover, a café is the most notable addition, while the sections in the central area have been replaced by a seating area.
In 2000, Service Desk was located in the southwest corner of the store, with New Books directly above and the Travel section farther north, near the entrance. Besides, Fiction was the largest section, occupying almost the northern part of the bookstore, and another Fiction section was located in the north-eastern corner. In the center of the store, Cookery, Hobbies and Art were arranged vertically, while Non-Fiction section run along the southern wall.
At present, Travel, New Books and the Service Desk keep undisturbed near the entrance, although other zones have been noticeably altered. The largest Fiction section in the north has been divided into four smaller equal sections for Art, Hobbies, Cookery and Fiction, while the former Fiction section in the top-right has been converted into Non-Fiction area. In addition, a new café has been established in the south, with a seating area in the central section.
