The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in a bookstore between 2000 and the present day.
Overall, the bookstore has been significantly modernized. While some sections such as Travel, New Books, and the Service Desk remain in the same location, several categories have been reorganized, and a new cafe has been added.
In 2000, fiction books occupied a large area at the front and along the right-hand side of the store. In the center, there were shelves for Art, Hobbies, and Cookery. Non-fiction was located at the back right corner. Near the entrance on the left side were the Travel section and a New Books display, with the Service Desk positioned at the bottom left.
At present, the layout has changed considerably. The large fiction section has been reduced and moved to the middle of the top wall. The areas previously used for Art, Hobbies, and Cookery have been relocated to the top left side in a single row. The biggest change is the introduction of a café in the center of the store, where the former shelves once stood. Meanwhile, the Non-fiction section has expanded and now occupies a larger space on the right side.
Overall, the bookstore now appears more customer-friendly and multifunctional than before.
