The given scheme shows two variations of the same area of Norbiton: the actual one and the planned one. Overall, it is clearly seen that future version will be far more adapted for living, where the previous one was used for the industrial work exclusively.
Firstly, this place at the first map seen to be centered about industry. All of the buildings standing next to the river are factories; other types of establishments are seemingly absent. In the developed scheme all the factories are turned into housings and different facilities, such as shops, medical center, school and playground.
In the modern version the area is widened: the bridge across the river leads to the housing on the opposite side, to simlify the transfer between the banks for the prospective residents. Some roads were added too: the one that goes straight to the bridge and the other, which leads to the south-west.
