The maps illustrate the Norbiton industrial area and the plan of future development of the plot.
Overall, factories are transformed into housing areas in the future plan with a diversion made at the centre of the river near farmland dividing it into western and eastern areas. In addition, more facilities are also introduced in the same.
Towards the western side of the river, when compared to current plot, shops are introduced near the housing area. Also, more pathways are constructed in the area.
In the east of the river, amenities like playground, school and medical centres are brought into the future plan, which are currently factories. Farmlands are now at this side of river according to the future development of the site. An additional roundabout is also made. The central path between the river leads to a housing area towards the north.
The factories in the current Norbiton area of industries will be converted to housing, according to the future plan of the site.
