The maps illustrate how the first floor of an art gallery in 2005 changed.
In general, only the 3 exhibition rooms on the right side remained unchanged while the other areas underwent reconstruction.
Before revamp, In 2005. There were 4 exhibition rooms named with numbers with 3 of them on the right side of the ground floor starting from the bottom to the top and the last one located on the left, next to the entrance which is in the middle of the bottom. The Gallery office was placed between the fourth exhibition room and the Cafe on the left side of the stairs. Next to the office is the space for the receptionist, which is placed in front of the stairs.
After the rebuild, the stairs were moved a little bit to the left, making space to install a lift, located next to the third exhibition room. The receptionist place was also moved, now in the middle of the floor, in front of the entrance, which now has a ramp for disabled people on the left outside the first floor. The exhibition room on the left was removed to make way for a children’s area and a temporary exhibition room. Both the gallery office and the Cafe also got removed with the vending machine taking away the office’s spot and the gallery shop now is in the Cafe’s location.
