The two maps show how Pebbleton has changed in the last 20 years.
Overall, Pebbleton has become more developed, with new buildings and facilities. Some places stayed the same, but many new things were added.
Twenty years ago, there was a lighthouse in the top left corner, and it is still there now. There was also an old fort, but now it has become a museum. The film studio in the southwest has been replaced by flats, and a café was built nearby.
The playing field in the middle of the map has not changed. A children’s playground was added next to it. In the past, there were a few houses along Old Fort Road. Now, more houses have been built, and a community center and car park were added in that area.
The school near the coast road in the south stayed the same. A new ferry terminal was built in the sea near the lighthouse. The roads and river have not changed
