These changes took place at the expense of an old fort and a film studio. Many places remained unchanged.
In terms of residential development, the village has expanded noticeably. A film studio in the west of Pebbleton was removed and replaced by a modern block of flats. Additionally, several new houses have been constructed along Old Fort Road in the northeast, increasing the overall housing capacity of the village. According to access, a footpath has been created leading from the lighthouse to the main road, and a new footbridge has been built across the river, connecting both sides of the village.
As for entertainment facilities, Pebbleton has become more family-friendly. A children’s playground has been added to the west, close to the new flats, providing leisure space for young residents. Next to the childern’s playground, a new community centre has been built, offering social activities for locals. Moreover, two tennis courts have been constructed near the playing field, which has remained unchanged.
