The given diagrams describe the town center named Birshire at present, and how it will look in the future. Overall, this site is set to undergo several significant changes, most of which are concentrated more in the southern side. In addition, the major developments will include the disappearance of farmland, the addition of houses and public amenities, and the upgradation and straightening of the road system.
The first major change can be seen in the road infrastructure, with Corbie Road and That Street being straightened to the northeastern and western side, which will make That Street have a west-east orientation. Farmer’s Market, which is located next to Corbie Road, will disappear. In addition, in the northeast corner of the map will be a Supermarket at the expense of Griffiths Farm, right at the corner of the X-intersection. Another development includes the addition of a Roundabout in the middle of McGoldrick Road and That Street.
Regarding the southern side of the maps, there are two rows of houses running perpendicular to the road branching off from McGoldrick Road, and a shop to the southwest. In the future, this area will be expanded to erect more houses, and shops are expected to be demolished to make way for 6 houses, all of which will lead to the upgradation of amenities. Hoolahan Farm and Open Field will turn into a Car Park and Sports Center as opposed to the constancy of the Public Park in the south.
