The map illustrates the renovation of a library between 1975 and the present.
Overall, the library in 1975 focused on showing books and exhibiting bookshelves. However, the library has had many new modern facilities for visitors.
In 1975, the library predominant illustrated books such as books and magazines, new books, bookshelves… To the right hand of an entrance and a stair, there were two new books area, while the left hand was books and magazines. Below the books and magazines acreage, there were enormous bookshelves which were occupied the largest area, and the second bookshelves was in the lower left corner. Moreover, shared areas was located in front of the second bookshelves and next to those, in the lower central of the map was a location of a toilet. On the other hand, a children’s book area and a library desk were placed at the right side of the map to serve readers.
In the current design, the middle area includes the stair, the entrance, and a toilet, a library desk, a children’s book and the second bookshelves have still remained. However, the left side of the entrance and the stair has replaced by a computer which is amenities facilities area. On the opposite side, two new books have been removed to make way for a wheeling access and new books. In addition, the shared areas have been moved next to the library desk and opposite shared area is a coffee and two sofas for bookworms.
