The given pictures illustrate the way in which the layout of the Art Gallery has changed for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features have been still there, whereas others such as Exhibition Room 4 have all been relocated. Additionally, over the period from 2015 to the present day, the place has undergone a number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features such as Gallery shop, Temporary exhibition, Children’s area (interactive), vending machine, ramp to wheelchairs, and Lift.
At the entrance, Exhibition Room 1 remained unchanged, and so did Exhibition Room 2, on the right corner of the Art Gallery, Exhibition 3 remained almost the same. On the left of the entrance Exhibition Room 4 was divided into two spaces to make way for a Temporary exhibition and a Children’s area (interactive). Besides, a Gallery shop and a Vending machine were constructed and replaced for a Cafe and shop, and a Gallery office.
In the present day, changes have been made to other features, the most noticeable of which was that the Stairs to the upper floor have been divided and shared space for the Lift, and the entrance has been added with a ramp for wheelchairs. Besides, the Receptionist next to the Exhibition Room 1 has been moved from the center of the Art Gallery to nearly the entrance.
