The two maps depict how a farm has shifted to a factory site over the past forty-five years. Both images include natural and artificial elements.
Overall, the area underwent significant changes, from an enclosed place with predominantly environmental characteristics to a more open and recreational-oriented one.
Regarding the left side, in 1980, the farm had a reversed L-shaped road running from the middle-bottom to middle-left with two gates at either end, which also isolated another region. To be more specific, there was a small section with flowers at the bottom-left corner, as well as three benches situated around a pond. In the present, the flowers have already been substituted with a bush, whereas the pond is still there with another bench added. It is noticeable that the road has expanded two new branches, one leading to the top and the other to the right. Additionally, there are no longer any gates or surrounded walls.
Concerning the remaining part, the layout shows the emergence of recent amenities and facilities, which is indicative of a trend in being family-friendly. The top-right and bottom-right corner used to be occupied by trees and the large flowers, with their respective location. Nowadays, the trees have been partially felled in order to have space for a dining zone, which consists of chairs, desks and a barbecue smoker. Besides, there was a conversion of the flowers into a playground.
