The maps illustrate the developments that took place at the seaside resort of Templeton from 2000 to 2013.
Overall, Templeton experienced significant changes during the period, involving the conversion of green spaces to accommodate new constructions and facilities.
In the north of Templeton, the majority of the residential houses remained, with the introduction of additional blocks of flats and an airport. Furthermore, in the northeast, the green space near the hospital was converted to accommodation. Other sites in this region remained unchanged.
Moving to the southwest, the expansion of railway station toward the west leads the replacement of houses and trees with apartments and a supermarket. To the southeast of river, green spaces were converted to an industrial area with a factory and a car ferry. Consequently, the overall landscape in 2013 featured more residential and industrial area and less green spaces compared to the situation in 2000.
