The given map depicts the changes and improvements made in Shelby village between 1970 and 2010. The village observed numerous changes with the passage of time. The village, which was underdeveloped in 1970, commenced to urbanize in the latter years.
In 1970, the village consisted of forests, fields, some houses and paths, which gave a rural picture to the village. With the passage of time, new infrastructures were built in the village for urbanization. In 1990, apartments were built on the left bottom corner of the map in place of the field. Moreover, resorts were constructed on the right side of the map, surrounded by forests. Some paths were replaced by concrete roads, whereas others remained the same.
The village was completely urbanized by 2010. Along with houses, resorts and apartments, new housing and offices were constructed in 2010. New housings were built to the north of the apartments and the offices and the new housings were separated by a concrete road. Further, all the paths were converted into concrete roads in 2010, and a departmental store was added on the right bottom corner in place of a field.
