These maps demonstrate the transformation of Fivalsmead town between 2005 and 2015. Overall, Fivalsmead experienced significant development over the period.Many new facilities have been constructed including, leisure centre, highway, and bridge. School and houses remained in their place.

Before the facilities were constructed, there were only houses, school, south and east roads, forest, and roundabout. By 2015, many buildings were transformed and several of them replaced. For instance, the east road which was located in the southern side of the town was replaced by a leisure centre. In addition, a new highway was built running along eastern side of the area, improving the transport connection, while the railway was constructed close to the highway.

Furthermore, the forest had been situated on the western side of the town in 2005 was replaced by roundabout and bridge by 2015. Despite these changes, houses which were located in the top right corner and school near to highway remained unchanged.
