Overall Langley had seen some noticeable changes, especially with the creation of Sherman Park in the south. Itis also clear that the raiway line was cut down in the Southern part of Langley.
In 1910. there were town houses on both West and east of Jordan Street. In addition, one factory took a wasteland in the north. Over the 40 years, Langlry was changed significantly. The town houses were replaced by apartment buildings in the west and those in the east Were demolished. Three large buildings. Known as Sherman Mansions, were constructed on Sherman Street
The railway employees’ cottages and railway line were located in the south in 1910. There were also a cafe and a Laundry in the east. Sherman Park. New Lane Street and three stores were erected, while the railway line was removed in the south. The laundry in the east and Jordan Street in the west remained unchanged.
