In 1986, gardens, where there were large houses and trees, were situated in the center of the village. To the north of the gardens was home to a primary school and a farmland. Moreover, to the south of the map, another farmland lay in front of the gardens. Shops were located adjacent to a post office and they were across the primary school. The River Stroke crossed in the village from northeast to southwest. Additionally, there were a bridge over the river in the north of the map to connect a northern road to a main road which run through in some parts of the village including housing zones, the shops, the post office, the primary school, gardens, and the farmland from north to south.In 2010, the area experienced a significant transformation. The gardens were removed and replaced into residential areas and also the large house was extended and converted into a retirement home. In addition, the southern farmland was removed to make way for roads and residential estates. Besides, the shops and another farmland were demolished and replaced by roads or residential districts. Furthermore, two large houses were added to the primary school. Additionally, the bridge, the river and the post office remained unchanged.
