The two maps illustrate the structures of the city in two different years, 1950 and now. Overall, during the period, the area was undergone some huge changes from the widening the residential area to building roads for the transportation.
Focusing on the 1950’s plan there was a business district in the middle of the area. The west side of this district was covered by small residential area which connected four major roads coming from different sides, including one right side from airport, and accommodated only 20 000 people. There was a long river was located just below of the business district, which separated the whole area into two parts. The Governmental building was the other side of the river, which connected by bridge, and adjacent to business district.
Coming into current layout, not only the overall structure is developed but also new buildings are added to the place. Beginning with the river and bridge, the middle part of the river is replaced by huge lake and the dam is built on the right side of it, so the bridge is also prolonged and new one is added nearby dam. Both of the business area and residential area which covered the lake and governmental building are increased their size to another side of the river. The new Governmental building is also placed to the bottom of the map and so do new road that connects it with other areas. The population also rise by 10 times and the airport is increased its size.
