The map illustrates the city’s scheme in 1950 and today. Overall, it is clear that the town’s layout has changed significantly over time, with the addition of new facilities, increased industrialization, and growth in population.
According to the map, the population in 1950 amounted to the 20.000 inhabitants. In the centre of the map, there were a business district and a housing area. At the bottom of the map, there was enormous river, and below which a government building was located. Moreover, a bridge over the river was connected to the main road and directly led to a government building located in the southern part of the town.
At present, the population has increased dramatically and is now ten times larger than it was in 1950. Now, the map contains two bridges. The first bridge, which is located in the middle of the map, additionally divides the lake into two parts. The second bridge is situated on the left side of the map. The residential area is larger than it was in 1950, and a business district is located within it. On the southern side of the business district and the housing area, there are two government buildings which differ from each other in size. Additionally, on the south-eastern side of the map, there is an airport that has expanded in size. A dam is also located nearby.
