The plans illustrate a public park, known as Grange Park, has developed from first opened in 1920 to the present.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that a fountain was replaced by a large rose garden, and the stage for musicians was renovated to an amphitheater for concerts. However, two entrances have remained in the same position since 1920.
In 1920, there were two gates: one to the north, leading to Arnold Avenue, and another to the south, leading to Eldon Street. The fountain was located in the center of the park. The stage was built in the west of the fountain. Moreover, there are rose gardens in the north and the south of the stage. The both rose gardens was surrounded by seats near them. A glasshouse was established near the southern gate, and there are seats in the northeast of it. In the northern entrances, there is a rose garden next to it, and the east of this garden had a pond for water plants.
Currently, the two gates have stayed in the same location. In the center of the park, the fountain has been converted into the large rose garden, which is surrounded by seats. The stage has been reconstructed as the amphitheater for concerts, and there is the rose garden in the north of it. The eastern of the park has major differences compare with the past. The glasshouse, located near the south entrance, is knocked down and replaced by a water feature. Next to the water feature, a new entrance underground car park has been constructed. The opposite of the water feature has been opened a children’s play area. Besides, a café has been established in the west of the play area close to the northern gate.
