Overall, the area had shifted from a rural and settlement to a more entertainment and recreational-oriented region. The key changes include the transformation of the farmland into the multi-functional centre and the complete elimination of marina, pier and fish market.
The top section, the golf course remain unchanged on the left. However, in the middle, in 1967 there was two shops, but in 2001 one had been transformed into apartments. On the right side, a farmland had been rebuilt to a multi-functional centre includes a swimming pool, a hotel and tennis courts.
While at the bottom, wind turbines had been erected opposite the dunes. In the middle of the area, a car park had been built next to the hotel and due to this the cafe had been relocated a little to the right of the hotel. To the rest of the Felixstone, there was several significant changes was a pier and a marina had been transformed into a public beach and a fish market had been rebuilt to a private beach.
