Overall, it is clear that the flats replaced the terraced houses.
Another major change to the area was the development of more commercial and recreational features. Wasteland and railway workers’ cottages demolished to the construction of the park and the playground. Furthermore, a shop was relocated to the right of the park in 1935, its number tripled in the same period .
Regarding to the resident and the industry, the Bayley mansions developed instead of a factory and the wasteland, which was located at the top of the map in 1935. Especially, the area of this town in 1935 was expanded when the railway line was destroyed.
