The given pictures illustrate the way in which Huntingdon will change for urbanizable purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features will be still there, whereas others such as the airfield is going to be gone. Additionally, the zone will undergo dramatic transformation with several large changes including traffic infrastructure, housing areas and amenities.
A roundabout intersect the A1 road and the A14 one has been formed. Details about the roads, the A14 runs from northwest to the southeast while the A1 runs from the north to the south. The northern A1 links to Airfield, where a demolition is planned to make way for a new industrial estate. The southern A1 connects to Brampton Road in a T-junction. The southern A1 road has main access route to the town center, which is located in the eastern section and is encircled by King Road. A new roundabout that connect The A14, Brampton Road and the King Road is planned for improved accessibility. A new road situated at the end of A1 has also been discussed to enhance access to the central area.
There are also some constructions and changes to railways. The railway line runs from the northeast to the south, bypassed the built-up area that contains houses, shops, etc, then through a railway station located in the west of the center and finally continue its journey. In the future, there will be an extension that connect the new industrial sites, enhancing transport links
